More than 2,600 projects have been managed by Invest in Catalonia since 1985. In 2009, Invest in Catalonia enabled the setting-up and implementation of 33 investment projects that generated (or maintained) more than 3.000 jobs and 544 million of investment.

- As part of its strategy in Europe, Takeda Pharmaceuticals Spain has established its commercial office for Spain in Barcelona.
- Brightpoint has settled its regional headquarters for EMEA in Cornellà.
- The multinational pharmaceutical company Synthon has expanded its plant in Sant Boi de Llobregat to diversify its activities incorporating a new manufacturing line for pellets and capsules.
- Bayer Pharmaceutical, Boehringer-Ingelheim and Novartis participate in a joint venture, whose business is the logistical operation of all their medicines manufactured in the world, distributed in Spain.
- Aldi Supermercats has established the headquarters, a new distribution centre and its shopping centre for Spain in Masquefa.
- Mercon Coffee, a supplier of green coffee for the coffee industry in North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia, has established an office in Barcelona for the EMEA market and a laboratory of coffee.
- The Netherlands' based company BF Fitness Investments has brought to Catalonia the low cost model in fitness. It has opened a gym in Barcelona and is now expanding to other centres in Catalonia.
- The United Arab Emirates firm DP World has done in Tarragona an investment of 100 MEUR that has strengthened the port activity and contributed to its international positioning.
- Ripleg is a company especialised in machining operations. They have made a new investment in a vending machine for baguettes in Ripoll that will create 17 jobs..

- A joint venture between the Catalan company Reproplanet Graphic and the South Korean company Fawoo to manufacture methacrylate screens.
- Continued and new investment in the Grupo Siro production plant in Montblanc.
- Investment to expand the Fischbach Ibérica production plant in Sils.
- Installation of a Global Development Centre for Water Desalination Technology and Wastewater Recycling at the Dow Chemical plant in Tarragona.
- Expansion of the existing Air Products Ibérica Shared Services Centre in Cornellà to offer its centralized services in 12 European countries.
